SigLite LCD 4×3 includes all the high-quality electronic signature capture features of Topaz signature pads with the added feature of an LCD interactive display allowing users to see “electronic ink” under the pen tip as they sign as well as navigate between data screens where they will be able to read agreements and check preferred options for each transaction. The touch-sensitive surface is covered by a protective overlay to ensure long life.

SigLite® LCD 4×3 features all the high-quality biometric and forensic capture techniques of a SignatureGem LCD tablet but with a low-cost touchpad and stylus in place of the more rugged digitizing pen and inert tempered glass surface of the SigGem tablet series.

The Backlit Colour LCD model has a 4″ x 3″ transflective LCD screen with a bright backlight for improved viewing in any ambient lighting conditions.

*Signatures appear on the pad screen under-the-pen as the user signs. In addition, the LCD display can be used to display information to the user, and can also display on-screen buttons, hot-spots and checkboxes.

The “-BHSB” model has both Serial and HID USB connections available for the model. There is a USB device which uses the Human Interface Device (HID) class of USB driver built into Microsoft Windows and other leading operating systems and computers.

There is also a serial connection. It connects to a PC or Termial via an RS232 connection (pad has a female 9-pin connector – see image above). Typically less common than the USB connection, Serial is having somewhat of a comeback in the expanding Remote Access environment, being ideal for Citrix and/or Terminal services architecture.

This model has a two-year Manufacturer’s Warranty. However, even after this warranty period has passed (or if the repair is outside the terms of the warranty) we can offer a lifetime service to repair or refurbish the unit (if possible) for a modest charge.
